Hi Everyone

Installed the Bilstein Shocks (Upper Perch) and Dali Springs.

The rears dropped evenly whereas the fronts have about just under 1/2 an inch difference.

Is this normal? Will the springs 'settle' and even themselves out?

1) Done on flat surface, check with leveller

2) Cups on Bilsteins installed correct way, upside down

3) No one in the car. :)

4) The springs installed same orientation with flat end/side against the cup.

They will settle over time, do you have pictures or can you measure the offset?

Hi, I'll take some photos later. What do you mean b offset? gap between tire and fender?

The cup is the correct orientation. When I said upside down....
I was explaining it was like an upside down cup. Pls ignore the upside down statement.... it is oriented the right way already. It's a low drop on both.....just slightly lower on one compared to other.

Are you saying there is just under 1" different in height from the left front to the right front?

If this is so how are you measuring? What are your reference points and are you doing measuring on a absolutely level plane or datum?

Hi, I updated my first post correcting the difference
...it's actually 1/2 an inch difference in drop....not 1 inch.

I've measured the difference in drop comparing both the gap between top of tire and fender.....and also the front lip to ground.

Only quick way to get relatively accurate measurements is jack support to ground (off course absolutely level)
Although i've seen mangled jack supports before.

Mine did a similar thing where the front took awhile to settle and set high compared to the rear. It will settle and come down. I think the drivers side is sometimes slightly higher also do to the fact that there is usually only the driver and when he sits in it, it will then be even on both sides. The more i drove the car the better it seemed to get better faster. I also took out the spare and loaded the front end up with some weight to try to get it settle faster while i wasn't driving since i am one of them guys that stares at his car more then he drives it.

Mine still sets a tad bit higher in the front compared to the rear after 4 yrs. I have HR springs and Koni yellows. Maybe because my staggered wheels 17/18's. If I got 17's on all 4 maybe it would even out?

You're in California and I believe that was one of the last states settled so it's going to take a bit longer there.

Thanks for the advice...I'll look into it.

It can take up to 2 months for your suspension to settle.

Cool, I'll see how it goes.

Yeah, I've taken out the spare tire also.

I have the same Dali / Bilstein combo and it is level, it will probably level out when it settles.

We'll how it goes. I've gotta take off the wheels and put some rubber sleeves on the springs so I'll have another opportunity to have a look see.

Thanks all for the advice!!!
