What's the red button for? I don't believe that is stock?

Yes, that is the valet button for aftermarket alarm. I left it on there incase anyone with aftermarket alarm needs it since that is usually place where people put it. It's easily removed with one nut.

Yes I believe it leaves a 1/16" hole if you remove it but being underside it will not be visible.
