Lamborghini - Miura

This is the latest concept Lamborghini ... Oh MY GOSH...it's the ugliest thing I have seen from Lambo. I think they need to stick with their "exotic" image instead of the "retro" look. I'm so used to the "Murci" "Diablo" looks.... This reminds me of the retro of the US Camaro...

I beg to differ... my first V-12 was a 1970 P400S. I think they did a wonderful job of recreating the Miura (except for the wheels!

Hey, do you own a CL 65? I really like that car, but would still prefer a Murci considering the price ticket. The '06 msrp is around $189,000 isn't it?

Kind of old news,

and I saw it in person, it's freaking huge. way bigger than the murcielago.

I waited til i saw it in person to make an opinion on it, and it's horrid. I highly doubt it'll make production at any price level.

Here, here... the original Miura is, IMO, the best looking car to ever come out of Italy and one of the best looking cars in the world. I love the look and hope Lambo/Audi follow through.

I think the Miura is one of the best looking cars ever built. I still have a 1/16 model. I remember the first time I saw one on the road back in 1978 when I was in high school. It was a stunning sight. The Diablo, Murci, and the Gallardo are nothing special and they all look like ginger bread mold products.

Once this new car is on the road we should pair it up with Ford GT. Brings back the late 60's or 70's. I don't know I was not born yet. I like it. I often wonder how Ferrari would design the next Testarossa.

The Ford GT is a retro thingy, just like this Miura, but i think the GT realy turned out great, but this Miura is not cool in any way, it doesnt even complement the current model line-up (IMHO).

Everyone has his opinion: I LOVE IT! Give it to me in Lambo orange and I will not need another sports car anymore!

:)

Offrpring of a 911 and Murcie? This was designed 30years before the Murcie!

The Miura is the kind of car that you either love to death or just don't like :)

I didn't like the original one or this one, but I can count at least five people I know who love it to death

Re: Ugliest Lamborghini - Miura (NOT!)

I think it looks great too, but I wouldn't buy one even when I win the lottery. It's just not right without the original transverse V12 layout. It's like a Ford GT with a V12 or a turbo V6. Fun, but what's the point?

Anyway, to be honest ,the title of the thred is completely wrong.

You may not like the new Miura prototype, but the ugliest Lambo is almost certainely one of these:

I'd buy it...if I could afford it. If they'd price it around a 911, they'd do real well with it.

It's very subjective. The older generation will love it because they grew up with it. And if older guys have the money to buy it, that's a smart marketing move by Lamborghini.

Us young guys probably don't "get it" with this new Miura. That doesn't make it a bad car; we just need to continue lusting over the Murci & Gallardo.

IF it hits shores, which i'm about 99% it wont... it'll be upwards of $700,000 and be an Enzo fighter. So it's prety irrelavant to 99% of the population if it even gets made. (autoweek source)

I'm only 31 and I think it's beautiful..too bad they want so much money for it.

I remember seeing the Miura in that rocky movie..it was sweet:biggrin:

This lambo may have the sweet looks the young buff guys may like:wink:
