I followed the directions in the other threads. Nothing seemed to be clogging my drain tube. I was able to move some kind of foam up & out of the way but no water or debris came out.

Is the only option to replace the whole unit to prevent leaks? What else can be done?

Are you sure you're evap is leaking? Only if you're 100% I'd replace it (taking the dash out). Alternative would be not using the A/C at all (not funny).

Gold I think he means the drain tube is blocked and is leaking water into the interior.

Well, the title directed my to the assumption that...
He may should give us a description with more details.

Nope, I followed the instructions on other threads & checked the tube for blockage & it seems to be fine.

When running my A/C with the center console out. A few drops of water appear on the bottom of the evaporator & then fall onto the SRS unit (which now has some corrision).

Is the only fix to the replace the evaporator?

Just swapped out my heater/evaporator unit with one shipped in from Japan. I was told it was the last one available in the US and Japan. Hopefully you can find one in Canada if you choose to replace it. I've got my used h/e unit available if you need parts for the casing.

Do you think it's condensation water or does it feel oily?
Before changing out big $$$-parts do you see a way to redirect the water? I for myself protected the SRS unit from water just for the case I would ever have this problem.

The NSX has no inside air filter System like todays cars have. What about dismounting the fan unit and clean the Evaporator from the front. Just a hint.

It seems like only water is leaking out.
Any ideas for redirecting water?

How did you protect your srs unit?

Depends on where the water is coming from. Pic?
I've used self-glueing plastic sheets.

Ill retest the unit with a/c on.

So you just used plastic to cover the top of the srs unit?

Not just plastic but self-glueing one. We used it to protect book against water in the very early years. So I've used a clear plastic which covers the top and the sides of the SRS unit. Even if water Drops on the unit the plastic sheet will Redirect the water around the SRS unit. Sorry, I don't have a pic of that. You can even have pattern on it: https://www.google.ch/search?q=selb...iR7Aai6IDIBg&ved=0CAgQ_AUoAQ&biw=1494&bih=858 :)

AC drain may be clogged

I also have a problem when I run the AC, the passenger side carpet gets wet. It's not leaving and water under the car. Located the drain hose under the car but his is damaged. How do I go about replacing the hose? Thanks
