I know the S zero was a lighter version of the Type S, but were there any difference in the suspension? I did a search and looked through the Wiki page, but couldn't find an answer.

didn't know they used type r suspension set up...

Type S Zero removes the following:

Air Conditioning System
Stereo System incl. wiring
Power Door Locks
Cruise Control
Airbags and SRS wiring
Power Steering
Fog Lights
Traction Control

As mentioned, the S Zero uses the same suspension as the NA1 Type R and also shares the CF mesh engine cover. The S Zero is pretty much a Type R except in name- it was what Honda sold to its Type R customers between the end of the NA1 (1995) and beginning of the NA2 (2002) R models

The Type S Zero is bad ass, but I would hate to drive that car on a daily basis or to cruise around in it.
