I finally got a ride in a 93 Flowmaster Exhaust equipped NSX. The sound is awesome! Very clean and mellow with no tinny ricey sounds. I was very impressed and I think for the money it cannot be beat. Now I have to find a quality exhaust shop to do the work for me.:D

Many thanks go out to Mr. Hua for letting me drive his car.

Please provide details on the flowmaster setup. Which flowmaster muffler is used?
Does the installation involve cutting out he OEM muffler and welding the flowmaster in place?

I have never heard a Flowmaster installed on a 6 cylinder, but would like to.

I installed a flowmaster on my Suburban which was a huge mistake as the interior noise level due to the resonation at 70 mph (2500 rpm) made it impossible to have a convesation. I had sworn off aftermarket exhausts, but have been considering a Tubi as my NSX is only for pleasure drives. I also am betting that the NSX interior noise level is typically lower since the engine and muffler are located behind the cabin. What are other's opinions?

Flowmaster Part Number 42582

If you want to. Rich Hua had the shop do a full cat-back system in order to retain his factory muffler.

Goto flowmastermufflers.com and listen to a 6 cyl camaro. Not quite as good as the NSX but it will give you an idea.

This muffler only produces sound when you are on the throttle. It sounds so cool.

Flowmaster Clip

I have a clip but can't attach it here as it's too large for what's allowed. Don't think files other than pics can be attached any way. It was hosted here previously but is now lost/not up yet along w/ a lot of other Tech./DIY posts. I can forward it along if emailed.
