And now there are FBI reports of laser beams trained upon an aircraft’s cockpit, with three instances here in the US. The world can be a very ugly place at times. What drives this ugliness? hmmm... That's why I don't mind the zero-tolerance the US has of nuclear proliferation in States tied to int'l hostilities and current/past terrorist links.

hmmm... 'laser beams' as in infra-red laser range/target finders that are commonly used w/ sniper rifles & mobile launched surface-to-air-missiles (S.A.M.'s, ie. "Stinger")? Now that's what I call an irony. The very implement (Stingers) that repelled an invading Superpower and brought it to it's knees, now maybe potentially used against the other Superpower who 'gifted' it to the friend-turned-foe. [/FONT

hmmm... Quite well said. The dialogue from the Matrix involving Agent Smith in regards to humans was rather apt, albeit in fictional prose. (Neo, chime in!)

OFF TOPIC: I believe the elixer referred to is Herradura. many tequila lovers believe that the premiums like Patron, Sauza Tres, Herradura, etc..., are best sipped like a brandy, rather than blended with mixers in a Margarita.

how about if osama and his $300M+ personal fortune, and his al-qaida loyal followers, were openly and freely applied to relief efforts in these natural (or unnatural) disasters?
