The only difference in the updated timing cover is that it has a extra hole in it for the waterpump weep tube. What many people do is drill a small hole in their old cover to accomodate the new pump. I have a new cover that I use as a template when I do this. When you get your parts from the dealer, ask to see the new cover and take the measurements were the extra hole is. This will save you a couple hundred bucks.
