I'm in the middle of performing NSX TSB 92-007: Blower Motor Unit Only Runs on High. The TSB states:
The new blower motor should have a white dot on the 2-P connector.
The problem is I can't find a white dot anywhere on the motor or connector. I just ordered the motor a few weeks ago.

Does this mean I have an old, defective blower motor? Am I looking in the wrong place? Did Honda stop putting the dot on the connector after ~10 years (perhaps after the pulled all the defective units off the shelf)? I'm not sure if I should procede or order another motor. Any ideas? Thanks.

Has the part # changed, if the part # is different then what it was when the TSB was issued having a white dot is unnecessary.
The dot was used to indicate that the unit had been checked/inspected and did not have a problem.

The Honda part number stayed the same. The TSB shows the replacement and failed part numbers as 79310-SL0-A01.

The manufacturer part number on the motor (2005506) is the same on both units. The only difference is a number stamped below the 2005506 number, which appears to be a date code.

hi Ojas, i am having the same problem (fan only blows on high) on my 97.

If it were me I would leave the new motor in and test it instead of putting the defective motor back in. JMO

Have you resolved this issue yet and how did it turn out?

Regards
