The weight of the trunk lid, when closed, is supported by rubber pieces, and not having the trunk struts for a while shouldn't be a problem, so feel free to drive it. However, if you need to open the trunk during that period, be VERY careful and VERY gentle when opening and closing, and it may be easier to have someone else hold the trunk up while you're stowing or retrieving an item.Also, before doing so, make sure you have ALL the rubber pieces in place, including the "trunk hinge stopper", part number 10 in the diagram below, which fits onto a metal tab on the trunk lid hinge at the front edge of the trunk lid, and the "tailgate stopper" at the rear edge of the trunk lid, part number 11. These parts are often missing on NSXs I've seen. They are Honda part numbers 74826-SL0-000 and 74827-SJ5-000, respectively, and are inexpensive to replace.
