Trunk open light

Sometimes my "trunk open" light comes on and then it will go away. Anyone had this problem? Any fixes?

I actually experienced the same problem last year. If I can correctly recall, I think the dealership replaced the trunk latch sensor and I've had no problem since. Hope that helps.

Thanks. I am going to have them do an oil chang soon and I'll take your advice and have them fix it at the same time. Thought I was suffering from some mental lapses. Did I close it? Was it open?
