trouble code 3-1pgm-fi for tcs and 17 vss

i have a couple of trouble codes and im asking fellow nsxr's if any of you guys experienced these problems. i have 3-1 code on tcs and 17 VSS. any pointers, or anybody know how i can fix these problems... and yes i miss VTEC... unfortunately VTEC won't activate with 17 code popped... when the car is cold, speedometer works. once its hot, the speedometer drops... any hints would be greatly appreciated

Sounds as though your speed sensor on the transaxle has failed...this is not uncommon...if you have a manual you can use the wire diagram to see which is the signal wire that sends an A/C signal to the ECUs...if you would like to just throw a part at it, the speed sensor is around 150$ retail.
