Transport

i transport collector cars and sport cars all over the country for customers and i would only use Intercity Transport , they carry big insurance and i have never had a problem with them, they can be a little pricey because they only ship enclosed.

Beware of some companies with low prices as there are some horror stories on the net. They keep your car until they can fill the transport truck and even then they ask for more money in order to complete the transaction. A lot of times the companies are just brokers and they don't do the transporting.
If members here say which company to choose then I would pick that company.
If you were in Canada I would recommend Hansen out of Toronto.

I used intercity as well when I transported my NSX from CA to MA. Top notch!!!

Passport Transport.

Ask for Bob Pass, tell him Steve Jenkins From The Last Detail sent you.

They are not the cheapest, but I have never found anyone as timely, and safe as them, and Ive used lots of them!!!

Steve

Ive shipped 3 cars in the past 12 mos 2 nsx & a porsche c4s and was very pleased with Dependable Auto Shippers FL. tc CA was $1500 WI to CA was $ 1500 and OR to CA was $1000 there # is 800-726-2693 they will only ship nsx enclosed as they tie it down useing the tires and the outside trucks tie to frame which seems to be lacking on the nsx :)

Hey guys--I have a friend who's buying an NSX in Washington State, can you give me suggestions on a shipping company?
Thanks,
Susan

Give me $40 and I'll personally drive it right to his door!

How about Reliable Carriers? I used the FAQ section and gave them a call and there prices were very fair. Did I make a mistake? I'm just a little concerned 'cause none of the experts mentioned them. I appreciate any input.

Folks, this is good info as we would like to post some references for transport dor NSXPO 2003.

So far it seems quite a few have used Intercity Lines and seem to be happy with them.

Chris mentioned Concours Transportation but I guess they are mostly in the Northwest?

Passport Transport is another mentioned, andf I believe there has been a few posts in the past.

If any of you know their corporate people, perhaps we can negotiate a special offer for the club ......

I like Reliable. As the FAQ entry says, I've used all the others (Intercity, Passport, etc.) and I felt Reliable was just as good but less expensive.

This topic comes up often and not everybody feels compelled to reply every time, but if you use the search feature I think you should be able to find some previous comments.
