just curious what happen to your transmission and at what mileage?

80,000 miles. It started acting up one night about a week ago.
I was leaving a store and it just acted as if the clutch was slipping. I shut the motor off and restarted it and it worked fine..........for a awhile. Then it progressively got worse. Now it seems bad in almost all gears. I drive it very - conservative - but I've only had it for a year now. The previous owner supposedly was easy on it as well. Who knows............maybe 80,000 is about all it can handle. The Acura dealer said he has heard of them breaking around that range. 270 hp and an automatic that is not the toughest to begin with.
