More than likely it was the tech's fault. When you replace a clutch on an NSX, you have to be carefull not to let the slave piston travel beyond the seal area. If it does, it needs to be pushed back in, but becuse it sucked air, the bleeder must be opened-

But Wait- then the clutch pedal is all wrong because the pedal (system) needs bled. Adjusting the master cylinder is the fools way to fix a slave problem. The leak is probabally a result of nicking the seal when forcing it back in. The slipping a result of adjusting the master cylinder before properly bleeding, then as it bleeds itself with use, the pedal gets harder and higher.


Sounds like a botched install to me, but what do I know.
