Need a 'grown-up' car? Come and get it.
Looking to trade a 1999 Mercedes AMG C43 in great condition for an NSX. The Merc has just under 60K miles, is black (of course) on black leather, power everything, burl trim, AMG 17" monoblock wheels, 4.3L 302hp/302 ft/lbs tq. The brakes are amazing - stomp on them and it feels like you threw an anchor out the window. Possibly the perfect sedan. Looks like a soccer mom car but hauls butt when you need to. Will flat out run away from a Mustang or WS6 on the highway. If you are not familiar with this amazing car, here are some owner reviews - http://www.gearfx.com/nfs/nfs_mycars_mercedesbenzamgc43.asp
Want an NSX. Prefer a 91, must be a coupe. Must have:
- straight body
- good paint
- good interior
- manual tranny
Color preference (in order)
1) silver
2) black
3) white
Don't care about:
- milage
- condition of seats
- condition of stereo
- salvage titles (but price accordingly)
The market price on the Merc is $29-$34, so will take an early NSX in fair shape plus a little bit of cash. Will trade straight up for a nice car with NA mods. Car is in TX and the title is clear. There are a LOT of nsx owners here in Austin, so feel free to have any of them check out the car for you.
