Trackmasters Watkins Glen 4/26-28

So do we have to go with an instructor or is this an open track day event? I've never been there or participated in an "trackmasters" event and it's close enough to me so I'm interested weather pending...........

It's a novice school so instructor is mandatory unless you get signed off after passing the open track test drive. Once you pass the open track test you get 5 hours of track time per day for same price as the students who get four 25 minutes sessions plus their classroom instruction. They only take one level of students per event and the rest of the time is for the open track/instructors.

I can't make this event but I should be there for Kid's day in July.

Damn, I would love to attend this but it could not be a busier weekend for me. Are there any other track days this spring/summer at other tracks?

Bates motel........... depends on budget.

What's the name of the hotel we all stay at?

Make sure you tell them you are coming up with trackmasters.

When are people coming for this? Any NSXers meeting up Thursday?

Friday is only for open trackers and not students so if any novices are coming up most likely they would be coming up Friday night. The student sessions are Saturday and Sunday.

adding a smaller embed too since it seems the other one can't be viewed completely on an ipad

nice driving Bob.

Thanks. Getting the rust off since this was only my 3rd day at the Glen since July 2010. Been a long time. Then as you mentioned in another thread, I have decided to "dial it back" these days since I am in a relationship where I have kids for the first time in my life so it's time to temper it a bit. I even went for the new helmet this season so I can get a HANS. Gotta start acting a little more responsibly (without growing up - you have to grow old but you don't have to grow up....).

well you looked smooth, and with that as a foundation speed comes.....btw nice to see you acting responably....for once:tongue:

Boy, I don't know what to say. My SOB father-in-law actually getting responsible. Maybe I'll finally get the dowry too. Hope you enjoy the track and it doesn't snow. I will be at sunny Sebring on May 4-5. Also, we hope to see you on our trip north the beginning of July.
