If you come to Portland for NSXPO and are bummed we could not get PIR, you can sign up with PCA for Sept 18th HPDE day!

Go to MotorsportReg.com and look for the event!

See you at NSXPO!

You might first check with Don to ensure he would be willing to waive the annual PCA inspection requirement; given many of the attendees will have out-of-state vehicles without the signed form.

All cars are required to have an inspection to do the event with the NSXCA. Inspection forms will be sent with registration packet. This should suffice for their needs, just make a copy!

We are still offering the original, lower "early bird" registration rates and are not charging the late penalty at this time. So what the registration website showed you, is what you will actually be charged.

nsx will be much slower than your track bikes... but we make up the thrill in the corners  Speaking of that, are you going to bring your track babe there to nsxpo events?

The PCA inspection form is lengthy and detailed. My experience is that they want their form used, and will not accept others.

Here is the current form:

FOOTNOTE Harness Standards: No four point systems are allowed in Porsches because of the integrated headrest supplied by the factory. In addition to the standard SFI and/ or FIA approved five and/or six point system, the standard will allow a four point system in non
Porsches that meets the following requirements:
1. Meet the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 209
2. Attaches to the factory seat belt mounting points
3. Each belt is designed to work in a specific vehicle and that vehicle tag must be
attached to the belt system
An example of a system that meets the above criteria is the Schroth Quick Fit system.

everyone closed today..oh well.

Stupid question again....helmet required? cause i have Recaro's in the lowest setting and im 99% certain my arai will NOT fit on my head inside with the top on. Again, no idea since never done an "auto" trackday. thanks

Snell 2000 or newer helmet required. I have the same issue with head clearance, I have my seat tipped back a bit to help with clearance, but the helmet does brush the headliner...

Have you tried getting less padding (or none at all?) I shouldn't be too painful if you removed it just for the track sessions.

i have Recaro's Not sure if you can remove padding. I tried last night with it..there is NO WAY! how the hell do you guys wear them? To be honest, from a guy that has worn one his whole life (i have 22 helmets!) not too mention, had 4 concusions, and TWICE life flighted im all about helmets..but how the hell does it do ANYTHING in a crash in a car? I cant see how it even does anything but maybe save your teeth if you hit wheel? Seriously seems silly to me. But then again, might be all those concusions talkin..lol

I meant by removing the seat bottom cushion by padding... sorry, I didn't mean by the padding in the helmet.. I have recaro spg, the pole position and R seats cushion is velcro to the bottom. You must have the sport seats version
