Hey all you track newbies that had a great time at NSXPO

Come join me for 3 days at Thunderbolt & Lightning for 385.00 (solo) or 410.00 (instructed) with PCA Schattenbaum.

Don't make me be the only one there with all those PCA folks (joking Tytus et other Porsche drivers). Especially considering I'll be driving the new car.

This is a great event with really nice people, just like NSX folk. This is not a Porsche only event as there is a good mix of Corvetts and BMWs as well as almost any other make you can think of, kind feels like an SCCA event.

Sorry Pooh, can't make this one but will try for the first event of the year next year with them at the end of March. Beware of the potential cold in the morning as it is pretty slippery when below 50 degrees out there.

Have fun and give me an update. I just finished 2 more days at lightning a week ago and another one at Lime Rock last Saturday; that's it for me for the season.

I'm visiting over here from the BMW forums as I've been considering getting an NSX. I don't think I've ever seen NSX out at the BMW CCA or PCA events. Do you guys go often to the tracks in the northeast? I was at the 2 day PCA event last week and the BMW CCA event last week @ lightning/thunderbolt

Thanks for this post. I am booked but would have attended.
I'll keep an eye on this thread in the future for other events.

I was at the PCA Metro event at lightning 2 weekends ago but I don't track my NSX and many others who own them don't either for a variety of reasons. Some used to but now have moved on to tracking another car and not the NSX.

There are about 2 fistfulls of NSX people that track That I know of in the NE, the events we do together anuaaly is the Trackmasters Kids Day and DE event in July at Watkins Glen.

Come out next year in March or April.

Thanks Tytus - that was pretty much what I was going to say :)

The Don and I use to track my NSX, but now we both use other cars. Tracking the NSX is a blast and I loved driving it on the track. My car had lots of miles (188k) and with both of us tracking it for a 2 day event that was a lot of hours on the car (and brake pads and rotors).

We are looking at heading to VIR at the beginning of Dec with Chin Motorsports if anyone is interested. It is a Saturday and Sunday event and would be a great way to end the season. VIR is an absolutely awesome track and the drive down is not bad at all.

We also will be heading back there (I hope) for our first event of the season with Tarheels BMW at the end of Feburary/beginning of March so if you can't make it for Chin, plan on early spring at VIR. It was 70 last year when we went. It is a Saturday / Sunday as well and the Tarheel BMW people are really really cool. Some of the nicest people I've ever met were down there (and some of the best food I've ever had as well!)
