just was looking in toys r'us and found they had 3 black remote control cars that are nsx's and they are 1/16 scale. they have many aftermarket up grades (fixed headlights, jgtc rear spoiler, rear defuisser, jgtc scooped hood, comptech forged aluminum wheels, cenetr exhaust and other stuff to.)
i paid $19.99 and thought it was worth saying

I'm guessing that they are Nikko. I have not seen them in my local stores but know that they exist. I also have not been able to find the new Maisto "Fast & Furious" style NSX models which are out.

Edit: I have the Nikko models in "Castrol" and "Raybrig" JGTC versions.

they are made by nikko.

there is a website www.nikkoamerica.com on the box don't know if you can get them there or not but i painted mine to the exact color of my car and painted the little things (exhaust etc.) and no i have a mini me nsx!!!driving around:-)

just went to their web site and saw that you can order it their.
i don't know why but the picture looks like it is cheezy for some reason the car looks alot better in hand than in the picture
 
I bet the car looks a lot better in the driveway than in hand, too!

perfect, I wish they came in silver though, I've been considering building a silver one for my son, but I have a bad rputation with putting models together!!!

I don't know how I missed this thread, but I first came across this toy at Toys R Us today. Still at $19.99, I didn't hesitate to pick it up...one can never own too many NSXs, right?

Hey!!! How cool. I went into work a few days ago and saw that someone had left a circuit city ad in my mailbox. Had no idea why but took some time to look through it and there it was...a black JGTC styled remote controlled NSX!!! figured it would be a gross waist of money to have a "Toy"..but after reading the above posts I figured "why not".

After all..."You can't have too many NSXs right?"

Dang it! I found out about these 'racing', all-black NSX's about two weeks ago and wanted to be the FIRST TO POST that I found 3 at Toy's R Us. They look really cool. And after going to their website for the first time, I didn't see the black one pictured. They had a few others made for Japan distribution. I thought I'd be the FIRST TO SAY, you could buy one that isn't even pictured on Nikko's website. Aloha, Jerry

I opened the Circuit City Holiday catalog, and there, pictured on the inside back cover, is the BLACK NSX!...YES!

Bill--I've got an extra one you can have (a friend bought me one but didn't realize I already had one..DOH!) I should've brought it with me to the Pavilions last night but the thought didn't occur to me. Anyway, it reminds me a LOT of your car (almost thought they used your NSX as the model

the first thing i did was paint mine yellow and took the stickers off. btw for some reason mine had the nsx writing backwards on the passanger side but it is actually upside down so if you wanted to keep it one there just turn it the other way.
the only bad thing about painting it it mine is now all scratched up from the driveway.
