Has anyone towed their NSX with a Toyota Sequoia on an open trailer?

Did the trailer you use have trailer brakes?

How did it ride?

Did it tow comfortably, or was it a little shaky?

I towed my NSX with my Tacoma 500 miles roundtrip to Watkins Glen last year - no problems whatsoever, and that included some rolling roads through PA and NY. My Tacoma is rated for 5,000 lbs and I used a U-haul trailer (1,800 lbs) with surge brakes.

Just remember to back the NSX in the trailer since you want the weight centered over the entire set up, and you should be fine. I would guess your Sequoia is rated to tow around 8,000 lbs, and being wider than my Tacoma and possibly a longer wheelbase, it should go pretty smoothly.

Thanks!

That gives me a good basis since I believe the Sequoia is built on the Tundra frame.

I would be using a U-Haul as well.

I use my wife's Tundra.
Open or closed trailer, both have elec brakes.
No problem, just take off the OD.
IF you have a lot of hills you might want to get the TRD supercharger that bolts on 100 HP and fp trouque.
