This is my shout out to all y'all who are below freezing today. :) Pulled both cars up in the yard today and gave 'em a little bath.

They look good....but I think you missed your exhaust tips on the NSX. ;)

I wouldn't want to have to keep a black car clean. I've had them in the past and it is a constant battle.
Looks like your throttle body is dirty just like mine.:frown:

Looks like he missed the engine too. I use this method and it works wonders:

2 cans of Engine Degreaser (cheap Napa or Gunk Engine Brite works great), spray on cold engine liberally and let sit for 10-15 minutes (make sure you get in all the nooks and crannys).

Hose off (best to use without any pressure, just let the water come out of the hose freely - no hose attachments needed!). Air or Blow dry the engine as best you can without turning it on.

To make everything black and shiny. Use 1 can of FOAMING Armor All Tire Shine all over the engine bay (get all the hoses, front and back). Spray it all over, plastics, metal and all. Close the lid and start the car, letting it idle for about 10-15 minutes (or take a drive around town, but you'll see some of the Armor All steam off, don't be alarmed).

Open the hood to find your sparkling clean bay.

When I cleaned my engine on other cars, I always try to use some plastic wrap cover/wrap around the electic connectors, is that step really necessary??

My nsx engine bay do need some love.....

I've done that before, and then I've gotten lazy and decided not to. I use caution when I rinse those areas (I don't try to overly soak the area, just rinse it). Don't use any sort of pressure hose (just let the water dribble out) and I think you'll be fine. I haven't had any problems so far by skipping that step.
