I couldnt take it anymore so I checked the weather forecast last night. Looked clear, so I got prepared.

I drove in today! Its been more than a month since my car was last started.

I love my car!

haha, must be nice!! what a feeling it is when you take your car out after months of it sitting... you planning to do any lapping days next year?? im gonna try to do as many possible ;)
 
lol! do you have a group you go with or do you just sign up whenever ur free? a good place to search for lapping days is on the casc forums under Lapping Days, i went with a group last year that was insane! i think the site is called something like Insane Motorsports or something. Its at Shannonville,
9am to 5 pm $200. PASSING EVERYWHERE! it was a free for all! it was fun till idiots in their 4 door civics got carried away and were passing in the corners and stuff. theres also Howard Dexter Club, the Porscha club, ferrari and bmw club. Thats all on the Mosport one tho. I cant wait till spring!!
 
Im pretty careful with who I go out with. I dont do Shannonville. Just Mosport and if I can, Tremblant. Id love to get back to Tremblant this summer but logistically its more difficult with the kids.

I will keep this group informed with upcoming days.
 
Ya i'd love to go to Mt. Tremblan but i hate going to 2+ hour drive tracks alone. All my buddies own rx7's so its a issue of whether its gonna make the trip back or not. lol. hopefully we'l get alot of NSX guys coming out this year!
 
If theres a couple of cars going i wouldnt mind going all the way to Laguna Seca :) damn 5 mins away! well i can say i know how it is living so close to a big track, and its awesome! I'd defintly be up for it this year
 
Well it looks like a good NSX week coming up. Rain on Monday to get rid of the snow and some of the salt then its plus side temps all week. Anyone have mosport booked:biggrin:
Will be on the road for sure at some point as my baby need to get some air

regarding tremblant....I am in montreal and would like very much to know what sort of events/trackdays happen at tremblant (was just skiing there yesterday).

have been there several times for old porsche club stuff and gt races however not on the track.....would like to change that therefore any background info on when we can run with the NSX would be great.

on the side, I will be getting my '96 in a month, it needs nothing however anybody have insight into good garage/tuner here in the north east?

July 10-12 with NERPCA
Aug 4-6 with NERPCA

You can also contact the track (www.lecircuit.com) to request a list of all their non-competitive (ie, DE's, lapping days, etc) events. Some tracks list event info on their webites but LCMT I believe only lists the main competitive events.

There will likely be a 2-3 local (Toronto) NSX owners going to the BMW/PCA schools in July. To participate in BMWCC driving schools, you must become a member (approx. $55 annual fee). PCANER will accept non-PCA applicants as long as you have a valid membership in another recognised club such as BMW or NSXCA.

Dude! You didn't call me? I'd have been out with ya in a second! I haven't driven my car since November but I haven't put it away either - next time!
 
Almost drove in today again - but decided that I didnt want to risk backing out of the garage without guidance. The car is parked very very close to the side (assumed it would be there till spring).

Yep - gorgeous out.
