I read a year ago about some people after changing to Comptech PGII had some low clutch pedal and slow leaks leading to clutch hose braking. But I thought not much of it. I think this was one or two incidents.

Yesterday in the middle of knower this sneak up on me. My clutch pedal just went down and it would not come up even after lifting it up and pumping. Sure enough it was the clutch hose that goes to slave cylinder. I did not see any prior leaking it was very sudden.

Just an advice to comptech PGII users.

If you have comptech PGII I would spend that extra $77 to change that hose and be safe. I have 91 so age might been a big role too, but just want to share the info. I had to pay for towing $250+hose+labor.

I put a new line in when i did my PG2 (because i converted from auto to 5sp, and needed one LOL!)

I'd be interested in a stainless braided version of the stock hose.

I make them all the time for integras and civics, using various DIY brakeline bits from goodridge.

But the part that connects to the slave cylinder on the NSX with the o-ring, i have not been able to find.

I can't find anyone around me interested in making that custom one off fitting.

If someone would send me their old hose I'll take it to a guy who might do the fittings for us. He has the equipment, but his price depends on his mood. If the stock one is $77 +/- then we should be able to make SS ones for less.

SS Clutch line

If you ever got something going with a SS clutch line, I would take one. Sounds like a great part to install while my engine is out.

Please let us know what the deal is. Sounds like a part SOS or Comptech should stock.

Clutch Line hose replacements in Stainless Steel.

For all of you who would like to have a clutch hose replacement please email me at [email protected]. I've done this to my car and 3 others in my area with perfect results. I can do the same for you.

All the parts will include the AN adapters for the slave cylinder, clutch hard line and the stainless steel hose which can be changed quickly if needed. No major tools needed to do the job. Cost for all the parts is $75 plus $5 shipping charge. That's cheaper than the stock hose and more reliable. :D

I forgot to mention that I will also give free shipping to anyone who ships their old hose to me when they order their replacement kit.
