Hello,

I know you guys keep hearing suspension question....and Im sure people have asked the same questions I'm about to ask.

So here it goes......If I want my car to perform good and aggressive on the street and be able to go to the track and perform well as well.....which is better???

Tein - RA

JIC - FLTA2

Bilstien - With eibach springs.
Koni - With Eibach springs.
Bilstien - With H&R springs.
Koni - With H&R springs.

thanks guys for the help

Mike

Go with the Teins you will pay a little more but its worth it! You get all the things that your asking for, and you can adjust the ride hight. If you think its to low or high you can change your settings and fix it.
With some of the others your stuck at that hight and may have camber problems...but that is another story.
With the Teins you can raise the hight up, and still make it to work when it snows there in Canada Ah!

Hi pok8rok8

I would definitely go with the TEIN-RA. It's adjustable and it will save you 12lbs in unsprung weight.
I think there is still an ADD in the FOR SALE forum for a new-in-the-box TEIN set.
Look at: http://www.nsxprime.com/ubb/Forum18/HTML/001203.html

I have emailed with Brad about purchasing this set from him, but because of high transport costs (US$ 300.00 to Europe) I decided against it for the moment. I think it's still for sale though.

Questions are:

- How rigourous are you going to be charting your suspension settings, tire pressures, track conditions, weather patterns, etc.

Suspension setup is a black art that most people know little about. If you are committed to charting and tracking everything - the adjustable suspensions may be the best option.

I love the bilstein / eibach setup as it is close to OEM ride comfort (some say better), 2 height settings, no adjustments, and performs much better at the track.

I agree with Nick. I think that you will probably be better to go with something less hard core than Teins right off the bat. Just new shocks can make a noticeable difference. I would suggest trying Bilstein or Koni, with stock springs or Zanardi springs. I have Koni/Eibach adjustable coilovers and really like them for the street, but would prefer a linear spring for the track. HTH.

I have read that most people like the bilstien / eibach combo. If i go with this....would i be happy?? I have had coilover before on my accord, and did not like the ride. This however is a sports car and might be ok with coilevers. If you could shed a light on this, that would be awesome guys.

How do you like the ride now? If there is anything about it, how would you like it to change?

How old and how many miles on your NSX now?

Answers to these questions will help you decide what is the best suspension for you. It may be that your current suspension is just fine. It may be that your shocks are shot but new Bilsteins (or even new OEM shocks) with the stock springs would make you happy as a clam. It may be that you would like less body roll and you don't mind a much rougher ride on the street, in which case aftermarket springs or coilovers would meet your needs. It all depends on what your priorities and preferences are.

ok these are what I will be doing to my car.

I'm planning on 18 / 17 wheels. I also plan on a body kit, and will maybe take it to the track once a year. The car has 126km on it. I would like to drop the car but do not know the good enough hieght so I dont teeter tooter on the speedbump.....heehehe....

I do drive aggressive from time to time...and when I say that I mean around corners....I guess thats about it....I like the ride now...but since having the car for only a month...I dont really know if its good or no good....I'm guessing it could be better....
