Ok, I've looked at the FAQ and did some searches and all I have to show for it is a headache. I'm getting ready to replace my tires for the first time (new owner). To me the tires that are on there are very skinny for the wheels (94 stock rims). Is there a size that fills out the rims better? Also, I like Kumho's on my other cars, but I read that the OEM tires were specifically engineered for the NSX. What do you guys think? Are Kumho's ok for street use and what sizes look best.
Thanks
P.S. No soup for me

Since I have Kumho's on my car, I thought I'd give my insight. They are absolutely great tires for the street as they will last you easily 15,000 miles or more. And I drive my car pretty hard. Just ask the guys over at Factor X. ;P

However, if you are going to be needing to do any maneuvers where you can't afford to lose grip, go with something else. The Kumho's are great bang for buck tires but they are not the best performing. I have a tendency to take my car out to the canyons for crazy runs and one time they just let go on me, and now my bumper is cracked. But if you don't do that kind of stuff, they're perfectly good for regular driving.

I also have Kumho's on my NSX (215/40/17 and 255/35/18) and have been very pleased with them, wear wise-and ride quality-wise.

I don't take my car through any "wild canyon runs" however (not many canyons in Southeast Michigan)

I recently went with the Bridgestone PP SO3's and have been very pleased. One major criteria for me is rain/wet handling. Florida is known for it's sudden downpours. I do agree the tire FAQ could do with a more updated version. I could'nt get info on alot of the newer tires at my time of need. Lud is there a way to do this? Have people add post to their brand of tire with more modern listings. Thanks.
