TIRES for a 18x8 on the front?

I am getting 18x8s for the front and want to know the highest I can go with without rubbing. 215x35x18's just doesnt have any hight on them, and looks like everytime i would go up a curb i would scratch the rim. What about a 225x40x18's would they rub?

You should get 225/35/18

Depending on your offset, this size "might" rub on full lock turns only.

They are 18x8 with a 42" offset. Work rezaxs II

I'm running 18x8.5 (44mm offset I believe) with 225/35-18's and have modified the liners just a little bit. No rubbing.
