Anyone know of a good tire shop near Thousand Oaks, CA? I'm planning on ordering some SO-3s from TireRack, but need to get them mounted and balanced. Unless there is a recommended shop where I can do both locally. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

I had the same issue. Bought tires from Tirerack, and had struggled to find a place to mount them. America's Tire was the only place that would guarantee that they would not do any damage to my wheels. (They were brand new at the time, and I was scared.) I know where there's one down here by me (South OC) but I'm sure there's probably one up near you.

I'm right there with you on Costco, (actually, I think we go to the same one - Crown Valley?) but they may not be able to guarantee a scratch free wheel. Make sure that when you go in there you specify that you don't want the face of the wheels touched.

Tire Purchase and Mount

Has anyone in OC been able to beat Tucker Tire instead of the delivery and outside mount/balance option? I can't!

Call Americas Tire in Camarillo @ (805)484-3336 and ask for Frank the store manager. Tell him I sent you(John from Dent Works) and you want him to match Tire Racks prices, which he will gladly do. I usually check online store prices first. He has met the prices 99% of the time.
Take care,
John ;)

John, Camarillo is a very long way from OC, but your daughter looks great.

I used Tucker until I started using Costco. Tucker is solid and typically will come pretty close to mail order plus they're fast.

The Costco I use is actually San Juan Capistrano/Dana Point/San Clemente area off of PCH.

Anytime, I didn't know Dali made a child-seat for the trunk. How much? ;-)
