I was recently quoted $2,600 for the timing belt service including genuine Honda parts.
I kindly disagree. Modern Hondas can go up to 100k miles without a valve adjustment. After 25k miles I do see the need of a valve adjustment for the NSX.I have found valve adjustments on the NSX to be rather unnecessary.
For those of you that DIY the TBWP service are you doing the valve adjustment as well?
Where have you got the job done? 10h at what rate?So I just got the timing belt / water pump service performed and was charged 10 hours of labor plus cost of parts. This included the valve adjustment which tech commented that my valves were pretty far off spec. Looking at the parts list, it looks like they also flushed the cooling system as I was charged 3 units of coolant.

Great guys. Super fair rate too. They know NSXes and do good job in general. Assume this was engine in job.
