Yesterday was the first time in three years since buying my car new that I had the need to turn on the rear window defroster. At first I thought it was dead. The little light next to the switch went on but nothing happened, then after several minutes (about 4 or 5) I saw a little bit of a reaction/clearing of the back window next to the heating elements. This is like one tenth of the reaction/effectiveness of other systems I normally use all the time in other cars. Is this normal for the NSX? If it is, what a lousy system. If it's not, how come everything is working - i.e., power to the window, heat to the elements, indicator light on, etc., and no significant response is coming from the system? Thanks for any info you can give me on this.
