T.E.A.M. Racing is having an event at Thunderhill Raceway Park in Willows, California on Friday, June 30th. $225 per driver includes morning coffee service, a supply of Gatorade and bottled water, snacks, catered lunches, instruction for all groups, a chance to win great raffle prizes, and two fun-packed hours of track time. We will be running CCW, full track. Complete details are available at www.team-racing.org (click on the "2006 Schedule" link for registration information).

We hope to see you there!!!

Come on you guys, you need to support this as she supports us and does not even own an NSX (thats cool) so come on everyone lets do this!!!

Wow, thanks Steve for your endorsement, I really appreciate it. We do have a special 'group buy' type of arrangement at all of our events, too. Get five folks to sign up, the sixth person is free! Or, get six folks together to sign up and divide of the cost ($225 x 5) and each of those six drivers gets the track day for only about $185! Just a thought . . . I have not seen a lot of NSXs lately, I do miss them. Like Steve said, I have not had the good fortune to purchase an NSX -- but there are a LOT of cars that I have fallen in-love with, and I can't buy them all, lol. So I must live vicariously . . which is one of my alternate agenda reasons to invite clubs with cars different than my own. I hope you can make it Steve -- I want another thrill ride. Total E-ticket that ride with you was!!!

Come on you guys we need to go kick some MAZDA ass and take names so lets do this!!!!!!!!!
You know a MAZDA holds the track record at Thunderhill at least thats what I was told.
All things aside Bonni is good people and we need to support her day and it is cheap as well, so I challange all NSX people to be there and have a great day. Come on HRANT, X-FL Pres etc.

Steve

Thanks, Steve. :) You know, folks, there really aren't many track days at all in June -- anywhere -- so I just found out while searching for dates for Steve (who is apparently going insane from track withdrawals). There are only about a half dozen at Thunderhill, none really at Sears (one day with the PCA -- but not sure if those of us with out Porsches are allowed to play), and Laguna is closed most of the month to repave and flatten out turn 7 for the Moto GP guys. So don't go crying spilled high test octane when you let what few opportunites go by without you being there. ;) We still have plenty of openings for the June 30th event at Thundehrill -- drivers list is at www.onemain.com/~bonster/driverlist.html TRUST me . . . it won't be the Miatas you'll have to try and chase down as much as the Lotuses, Porsches, Corvettes, and what not. :D

PS -- While there are some great times posted at Thunderhill by Mazdas (Formula Mazda, EP, etc.), Miatas are not among the fastest necessarily. A 1:39 flat by Bob Stallings in a Swift is the all-time record, according to www.thunderhill.com/timingrecords.pdf . I don't know how current this listing is, as I know that just last year, Justin Hall broke the SM record previously held by Rod Nelson by getting it down to just about 2:07:50-ish. And the EP Miata record had a supercharger, I think. Or it was just super light. :) My personaly fastest time is only a 2:11:46 . . . but that's good enough for me. I can run 2:18s all day like a Sunday drive . . . so I suspect experienced NSXers can at least get down to that, right? Doesn't matter -- you guys will always pull us in the straights . . . possibly to only see us crawling up your bumpers in the turns. Ain't driving a hoot?!?

Awww . . . poor Steve . . . looks like he'll be the only NSX at this event??? That's okay, Steve . . . there's a Lotus Elise or two, and probably a Ferrari 328 that will be in your run group, so you'll get to play with a few folks out there. :)
