Thunderhill April 22-24th...anyone else going to be there?

I and a bunch of Seattle/Portland friends are heading down to Thunderhill for some track days. I will be there Sunday and Monday 23-24th.

April 22-23, Nor Cal SAAC, school and open lapping
April 24 Checkered Flag Racing Assoc. open track

Anyone else going to be there???

Hi Kip,
Cool, look forward to seeing you! Got to run some laps with a Ford GT last month at PIR. Driver was Michael Czysz (http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/firstrides/122_0507_radical_c1_990/index.html) he was on street rubber and only had 300 miles on the car, spun the car the first session so I think he was not pushing too hard after that. I was on RA-1's and found I could pull him on the corners, but when we hit the straights he would walk away so fast I had to laugh out loud!!! Overall, I was a bit faster around the track but I was on the ragged edge, still a great experience. What a beautiful car!! Thill will be a perfect track for that car, should fly on the big sweeper turns...

We ran Thunderhill clockwise on Monday, oh my what fun! We ran the bypass and catching air as we went over the top:biggrin:

I have some pics and I will see about posting in the next couple of days.

Sunday was most fun as well. Kip was running down the Winston Cup cars, word was he turned a 1:58 when he got all riled up and had to school those V8 boys. You were soooo fast:wink:
