Throw out bearing install?

Just want to make sure I do this right before I button the trans back up.

Im doing the single disk/dual mass conversion and do I need to place the throw out bearing inside the clutch springs so when the slave pushes the fork it pulls the TOB towards the trans and away from the motor correct? Is it a pull style? I remember my FD was like this.

Here is a pic of it, does it go in where the line up shaft is and hang out enough to slide the fork on?

I really do not want to have to pull this trans back off, any help is appreciated, thanks.

The throw out bearing MUST go on BEFORE the pressure plate. It is a "pull type" clutch. The pic does not have the T/O bearing installed so the pressure plate must come off to install the bearing.

Another question in regards to install... On a single disk, is the throwout bearing supposed to be firm within the pressure plate fingers? At this time, with motor out and trans off, this TO bearing will toggle in and out about half an inch or so and travel along the old input shaft in place.

What I have not verified, yet, is whether emplacing the clutch fork over the TO nodes will solely align the bearing and keep it from wriggling about freely. All bolts on pressure plate were tightened at half, and then quarter turn intervals, cross cross, as specified with any clutch.

Clutch is a SOS 350.

Any other helpful tips at this stage are greatly appreciated, as
well! Urea high temp grease on input shaft, TO bearing where clutch fork connects, and slave ball joints. Hopefully stabbing this TO bearing with the fork isn't half as frustrating as removing the fork. Worried it's not going to align properly with the pressure plate. That's all I got.

The bearing will be loose. Once the trans is reinsalled the bearing will slide onto the sleeve around the mainshaft and move as designed. Make sure the fork is installed on the trans housing before you put the trans in;).
