You really should remove the TB to clean it correctly. I did the NSX Driver "LarryB" method and while it did a great job on the airbox side of the TB, it did not get the idle passage, EACV or FITV, which are often the cause of idle issues on 91-94 NSX models. I had to remove all of those and clean- believe me they needed it.
