This is just wrong!!

I went to Pep Boys today to pick up some quarts of Royal Purple and parked next to an old Ferrari Mondial vert; for whatever reason the Mondial had the cheap 'covered with plastic' eBay ferrari fender emblems - I don't particularly care for the Mondial, but this was a clean red/tan vert and the use of these stickers just cheapened the look of the car exponentially... the owner was cool, complimenting my nsx when we bumped into eachother leaving the lot, but I didn't have the heart to comment on his fender emblems.

I took this a few years ago.....

I would love to see a dumb female fall for that... on a related note, now that I am recalling all of my funny-badge stories, I saw an old Toyota MR2 with a number of Lotus emblems installed, including a Lotus windshield banner, being driven in Brea, CA about 2 years ago... I was in a friend's car, and sadly he refused to chase down the 'lotus'.

uh oh....you better wear your flame suit  not that I care but I have a feeling the web police will site you.

I remember seeing an Isuzu Impulse turbo with Lotus badges.

I remember seeing a Chrysler TC with Maserati badges.

I even remember seeing a Cavalier with Cadillac badges.

What's worse - buying one of these pieces of shit, or spending a few bucks on some harmless stickers?

LOL I remember the Isuzu Impulse, but actually the Lotus badges were not fake as part of the marketing of that car was that the suspension was made by Lotus. Too bad the rest of the car wasn't made by Lotus. Also I remember someone here had a pic of a Mustang with a GT-R badge, talk about lost.

I believe he was joking. The impulse did have lotus designed suspension, a Chrysler Lebaron was rebadged as a Maserati, and a Chevy Cavalier was badged as a Cadillac Cimmaron (sp?).

To add to the list:

How about a rebadged Chrysler Pacifica as a Mercedes R class, the Corvette as a Cadillac XLR, and the Lotus Elan that was actually an Isuzu. There are many others but I can't think of them now.
