Ive been working on the NSX here and there, got it running, got all the suspension on and finished the aero, only waiting on alignment before i'm back with it on the track. Can't WAIT.

Meanwhile Ive been driving little events here and there in the RSX to get my fix. The last two weekends I did some smaller FF competitions. At the twilight event at Streets of Willow I got first place for Street class Front drive then this last weekend at Buttonwillow I got second place in the Vtec-Club N class. Its basically every Honda (s2k, nsx, itr, fa5..etc) lumped into one category with two rules. No aero, 140 and above treadwear tires. Ended up beating a pack of about 10 s2k's for second place and lost 1'st by 1 tenth to an ap2. Not too bad for a car that had FULL interior only 1.2 camber and the AC cranking while I was waiting on the grid :]

heres some video

Twilight:

as fun as it is its still kinda 'eh' compaired to the NSX.

Fun stuff! I'm heading to SOW on 8/4. If not too hot i'll take the NSX otherwise the BRZ.

I'm learning the software on my engine management so I hope to do some hot weather track tuning on the NSX. I'm also seeing moderate success with my water injection cooling. I'm testing a new radiator that I feel will be a game changer for NSXs but i'm put on my ducted hood for some additional cooling just in case. Basically, i'm comfortable putting the NSX on the track now. Not sure if i'll last thru a full session (depending on temps) but i'll certainly give it a try!

I still haven't picked up both my front and rear trophy bars from Dali (he got some in apparently) and I haven't hit up Darrin to put in my non-compliance rear bushings and all the other TiDave goodies. I might be at the track day with awful alignment, no corner balancing, and balding tires BUT WHO CARES! lol

Those video's were awesome. I did a auto-x for grins last weekend, which sucked. Totally not an ideal car for it. I plan on hitting the track in august to see how it handles stock. I have some crap tires on now, but hopefully i can get some decent tread before then.

The NE crew just had a great 2 day Watkins glen event........ pointbys only in the corners......until a small group got too nervous and complained

Great driving in the second video Will once you got into an open track.
Very good indeed...
Gotta love them front wheel drive pulling you around corners...

The video looked like Dessert Storm out on the track with everyone going off.
What time did you post on street tires?

Thanks guys, I did a 1:27:7 on street tires on Streets of Willow. There's definitely more time in the car if I increase the camber and spring rate but im trying to see what it can do literally just showing up and driving on the daily set up. Once I overheat the tires the understeer gets unbearable and I gotta do a couple cool down before charging again.

In general NSX guys do not track nor will entertain the idea. God forbid we scratch up our old Hondas.

I believe "spirited drives" through "the twisties" followed up by an exhilarating game of bingo or Cars and Coffee are the ideal events for the community at large.

I think there are 7 NSX's signed up for Expo right now, speaks volumes for the culture of the group.

Man if it wasen't so far I would SO be there. Maybe next year my schedule will be less crazy I could to ship my car out and drive with the guys out there. Its really kind of a bummer more owners dont drive the NSX where its most at home.
