Performance-wise I am happy with the OEM 16/17's but I'm kind of getting bored with them. I'm thinking of getting a set of Voxx MG3's. Wondering if anyone has any thoughts staying with a 16/17 setup or going to 17/18, and about the quality of Voxx wheels in general.

Those wheels look nice! I dont know about the brand but i would go to 17/18.

215/40/17 and 265/35/18 tire sizes work the best.

I would not try and crimp a 265 rear tire on an 8 inch wheel.

They are just a cheap ass wheel... I would not run them on an NSX. A civic maybe but def not an NSX, and I'm not a wheel snob either. Lol

The factory tire is a 245 tread width, which is ideal for an 8" rim.

If the OP is set on these, I would suggest running 215/40/17 and 245/40/18 tires.

Fwiw, these look very similar to the CCW 505a, to the point where they're probably a replica.

The CCW will be available in a wider range of offsets, however at a higher price point. Note, the 505a is also only produced in 18, 19, and 20" diameters, necessitating either an 18/18 or 18/19 combination.

Honestly in all my years of nsx involvement I have never seen a car with 245/40/18. Most nsx owners who upgrade to 18 inch rears want to take advantage of maxing tire width,265/35/28 is by far the most popular size, but plenty also go 275-285.

265/35/28 ??????????

lol the wine............265/35/18...but a 28 would give awsome rake.

Thanks for the feedback, exactly the kind of info I was looking for. So, for 18" rear wheels I should be looking for a 9" width?

9.5 is ideal but a 265 could go on a 9-10 incher.
