Thinking about buying this nsx..
It's located in Sacramento, CA. VIN# JH4NA1154PT000304. The owner's name is Bennett Cummins. 1993 52,xxx mi.
Does anyone live in this area who could check it out? I am seriously thinking about buying this, so any response would be appreciated.
Here are his responses to my emails:
"Thanks for the response... the NSX is still for sale
and I have attached the carfax report I ran when I
purchased (2000). It was located in the NY area and I found
it on ebay by a local dealer listing it there. The
car had a previous owner and then the dealer that
bought it at an auction.
The car has had no paint work and is in great
condition in that area except for the top black has
some fading. The car has no door dings but it does
have about a one inch crack in the rear bumper
section. Also, if you don't drive it for awhile the
brakes calibrate by clicking.. .which I am told by the
Acura dealer here that is normal. I will send emails
with photos.
Oh, forgot to mention it is located in the Sacramento
CA area. I am the second owner.
Not sure how the bumber became cracked. The previous
owners painted over it but you can still see the crack
when looking close.
Apparently there is a plastic piece that can be
removed to get to a hook on the frame... I guess when
I had it shipped they removed the piece to secure it
down and it wasn't replaced. <I asked about the space in the front bumper>
Make sure I mentioned everything... brakes sometime
click when first starting after not driving for
awhile, top black paint a little faded, and needs new
tires. Looking at the tires from the side they look
fine but rubbing a hand down the center reflects a
more accurate measure."

Edit: I later found that the crack in the bumper was actually just a big scratch.
