Here are some things I think Acura should have left out. Just for fun lets add our ideas, I'll start:

1. A Tape Deck!?
2. cup holders - no drinking allowed!
3. Ash tray

I'm sure there are a lot more...

Passenger seat

What I would pay for a center configuration like the McLaren F1. I'd pay at leas 10k, and I'm sure we'd get at least 10-20 others as well... I really don't know why it's that difficult...

Off the top of my head:
  • Re-routte shifter & e-brake components 12 -24 to the right.
  • Rer/build re-out the plumbing for the steering kit
  • Build a new dash.

Seriously, DF, SOS, someone get on it!

4. Spare tire
5. Air Intake Resonator
6. Antenna
7. Cell Phone

yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes.
However, no passenger seat? Where will my hotty sit?

What they should have done is, export the Type R to the US. Most of that stuff is not on that car. As for the antenna, it was really a shame that the wire in rear glass technology did not come out till mid 90's.

Central Driving position? That's pushing it. The key of the car is daily driving capability, not a extreme performer where every little balance count.

Antennas in glass go back farther than that: GM had antennas embedded in windshields in the 1970s. (Or is there something special about rear glass?)

I guess Honda didn't have that technology till the mid 1990's:wink:
