The Worlds Fastest Police Car (no lamborghini in here)

The Italian State Lamborghini Gallardo Police car set the record of 192mph holding the title for the world’s fastest police car in actual use in 2004. But the Brabus CLS V12 S Rocket beat that record and raced to an astounding 225 mph

"The new police vehicle on show in Essen is destined for police forces that need to be able to run down autobahn abusers." haha sure. . . although I'd hate to be chased down by that thing.

The incredible speed also costs an arm and a leg. Around US$437,575. Btw its also the fastest sedan too.

Its pretty cool and all. But why?

But still, such a waste being used as a Police Car.

Particularly when it can reach 225 mph, it deserves to shine elsewhere.

Show paint for the Essen motor show, would be highly illegal to drive this on the road. They transported it to the show in a closed trailer anything else would've cost not only an arm and a leg. Because it's no police car it can't be the fastest so all it is is a pretty fast CLS which indeed got the world record for sedans.

Its good marketing for Brabus. What city could afford a $437K police car. I think that would be 10X the normal squad car price.

Yeah- you would have thought they would have gone with something like this...

even for demo only purposes- it just seems more appropriate for the unit to be aero

Regarding the MB CLS, wow... that's just plain crazy! I'm a bit surprised they had chosen a CLS instead of some other model. Not that I'm complaining, as it is my favorite sedan/saloon in the market!
