In lieu of the site actually updating itself, I thought we the members would be in charge of updating the POTM archives. We are missing all the pictures of the month(s) between Jan 2004 and present EXCEPT Nov 2004. For all you Rip Van Winkles out there, check the front page for that one.
SO, to get us out of this backlog, I humbly submit the new unofficial POTM thread. The rules for this thread are as follows:
RULES:
1. It has to be at least 800x600, the bigger the better.
2. It has to feature an NSX (duh)
3. Each month will have a winner (only one per month) beginning Jan 2004 and going every month until the present one, skipping Nov 2004.
4. Pictures must be uploaded to the site in a user gallery, or the POTM submission gallery.
5. This month's winner will chose next month's winner within 48 hours. If that person does not pick the next POTM within 48 hours, the first person to post with the same first letter/digit username gets the honor. (so, if I am nominated and miss then anyone starting with a W gets to play). If another 24 hours pass, then first person with any user name gets to jump in.
6. Before a winner can nominate another person for next month's POTM, you have to give a basic caption for the thread that got you nominated POTM (i.e. I took this on the way to NSXPO 05 in BFE, AZ) and basic details about your car (unless you are a 48 hour/72 hour rule winner).
7. You can't pick your car, a photo you took, one of your buddies who promises to pick you back, etc (this is not kindergarten). Pick a different color NSX than your own. Keep the photos G rated. Pick based on the beauty of the photograph, location AND the car. SPECIFY the username who took the picture your are nominating for next month and link it.
8. Don't worry about what date a picture was taken. If you are picking for Jan 2004, it does not matter if the photo was taken Dec 2005.
9. Once we get to the current month, this month's winner will not announce the next months winner until the 1st calender day of that next month. The 48 hour/72 hour rule starts from 12:01am eastern US time on the 1st.
10. No Blasting anyone's pictures. If you don't like a picture chosen, start another thread to talk about it.
11. All Official NSXPRIME POTM rules are in play except where noted above.
