What good is horsepower if you can't keep the wheels from losing traction?

One way to get fine traction control is by having the engine drive a generator, and the wheels then driven by computer-controlled electric motors.

If this sounds like a pipe dream, bear in mind that it is already in production, in an all-wheel-drive turbocharged V-12. This might not be practical for, say, the HSC, but in some applications it's just the ticket.

Too much horsepower is FANTASTIC if you enjoy sharing donuts or leaving number "11"s at intersections. :D

But seriously, have you ever seen a blockhead out a diesel engine? They are 3 times larger than what you find in a semi-trailer!!! So while size may be an object, there's no problem Honda can't overcome. :p
