The only thing that would make me sell my NSX

Well, its cheap, but something is messed up with those wheels!

Seriously, are they leaning against the hub?

Awesome price in Canada!

Looks like stock wheels on front, but yes, the back looks funny.

Sean, its a great deal, maybe worth the flight to BC to check it out - just remember you'll have the problem that all us 02+ owners have - the car will be too expensive for most resale buyers who will want to pay $30-50k tops

I bet that there is something wrong with it though. Id get it checked out by a local before you head out.

I dont think that you could even bring one up from the US for that.

There's a few good guys in BC who can check it out for you.

If it really is a clean car, what a great deal!

Love the color too!

Definitely good advice Stu. If I went to look at it, I'd have to realize that I'd be losing $25k right away if I bought it. The right side of my brain says "It's my favourite colour combination and what a beatiful car." The left side says "there's not enough of a performance gain to bother - get a Porsche if you're going to upgrade."

What a wonderful delema.

I woudl agree with you Dave. I was a little suspect as soon as I saw the price, although there are a few other examples nationally of 02+ cars in the 80's - making this one a little too good to be true. I don't think it's a scam, but it may have been repaired.

here's another one for about 79k.

If I already had an NSX, Im not sure Id sell it for a newer one myself. Instead, Id change the one that I had, a lot. You'll end up with a better car and I bet it costs you no more than the transaction costs associated with selling your car and buying a new one. So even if you assume that the mods are worth $0 when you sell the car, you're no worse off than if you put the money into a newer car.

Drive mine next time you're in town. Its a totally different car than it was. If you get a newer NSX, you're going to have less of a difference (and honesty a change is what you're after, no?) than what you'll have if you do some cool stuff to yours. Being in London, closer to Detroit and Devin, Id stuff a LoveFab turbo in my car if I were you. How awesome would that be?

Very true. I could do an 02 conversion, supercharge it with gears and it would only cost what 25-30k.

Truthfully if I were going to mod it significantly I'd look at a 3.8l build from SOS - downside, can't go back to stock or a good ol' Comptech SC, with shortie gears. (Suspension/brakes and exhaust/headers are done already)

I'd love to drive a SC'd car. I have been in the right seat a few times, never in the left.

I just bought a 04 NSX this year and I know this is very very very very good deal but you never know what's wrong with this car. If you want me to check out this car you can call me and I will physically go and have a look. I was in automotive business for last 7 years so I can tell right away if something wrong.

The price of this vehicle is going down to 68XXX CAND right now.
I am very interested but I wonder if it's a rebuilt.

It's possible, but they probably are motivated to move it here in December. They may be paying the financing on it, and need it gone. One gentleman said he'd check it out if you're serious.

You need them to drive it to an Acura dealer and have THEM check it out - frame, etc. They will know and it will cost you $1-200. Ask them for a document stating that the car has no damage, runs great, etc. If they are willign to put their ass on the line you're safer - if the dealer won't drop it at Acura for you to do this - RUN! Also, a quick carfax and I can do a vehicle history search through UCDA for you ($20) and it will show any accident repairs paid by insurace in Canada.
