The New NSX should be..

The successor to the NSX should be:

A) Mid-engined like the original NSX, HSC concept etc.
B) Front-engined like Aston Martin DB7/DB9
C) Rear-engined like the Porsche 911

This has been done to death already on this and many sites, but then again who cares, I would say 95% of those on here couldn't affford it no matter where they stick the engine.

I would love to see it be MR again, but seriously technology these days makes up for almost everyhting. SHAWD is going into it, as well as massive brakes, tires, and some big hp froma low displacement v-10. All that said, it's not going to be the 90-100K NSx, it's going to be much more cash, and much different from the original. Sad but excited to see what the car will be capable of.

all the enhancemenst such as AWD are not that good on the race track, many true racers turn off things like ABS as well as TCS when racing their cars. i mention this only because this is the root of R&D.

I think the MR setup offers EXcellent stability and agility for the current car and can be enhanced with the upgrades you mention above. but i dont think changing to FR will help in anyway.

lets look at ferrari and lambo- if it ain't broke- dont mess with it.
