Lamborghini "Concept S" aka the Gallardo rag top.
At the Geneva Motor Show, the House of the Raging Bull will present a new design study that renews a great Lamborghini tradition. Like the 350 GTS and the Miura Roadster before it, the Lamborghini "Concept S" is a unique car, an extreme and spectacular expression of the Lamborghini brand.

Created at the Centro Stile Lamborghini in Sant’Agata Bolognese by Luc Donckerwolke, Head of Lamborghini Design, the "Concept S" is his extreme interpretation of an "open car". Using the Gallardo as a basis, Donckerwolke drew inspiration from the classic single-seater racing cars of the past to create this latest design study.

How could you possibly be in a bad mood driving or riding in that car?!

Im not so sure I like the design.

Ditto... Not a very realistic concept in my opinion. I would never buy it.

Looks like a modern version of some pininfarina concept designs from the 80's and 90's.

I'll pass too.

My other half is great...

But she is a woman, and once every month she tends to turn into the she-devil

You must be talking about the time of the month when my wife "gets" to ride in the trunk.

I, on the other hand, absolutely love it :). It is practical with two separate cockpits? Probably not, then again it probably isn't practical even with one. However, it LOOKS hot!

Interesting...

Dual passenger compartments means no hanky panky

It also means a quiet ride when shes in a bad mood

Either way, Im not so sure I like the design.

Can't really tell from the pictures, but it could be connected underneath between the 2 compartments, and if you're imaginative, it shouldn't be a problem... ;)

I like the design, it's slick and definitely catches attention, but whether I will own one, that'll be very debatable.

it answers the question:

"What do you drive when you wanna go fast, but don't wanna hear her bitch about it?"
LOL! Mine would just lean over the side and start yelling at me anyhow. The speed wouldn't scare her, but I love to take the twisties a little too fast!

I know Lamborghini is known for being outrageous, but i think the dual compartments is a bit stupid. I agree with <B>NSXLNT</B>'s comment about it being a Batmobile. :) For me it goes against the whole sports car experience which is best enjoyed with another person in real-time. Pleasure shared is multiplied.

I think Lamborghini is just playing around with the Gallardo... they need to go back to their old philosophy of waiting a few years in between new cars. It's that period of waiting that draws anticipation and excitement, and makes every Lamborghini even more special.

there was a Road & Track report about two new possible Lambos. Here is a rough scan of it.
