The holy grail of 1:43 NSX models and a rare, rare find!

Yup, fake. Don't fall for it.

The model is interesting but it's also kind of a letdown that its "holy grail-ness" is dependent upon quantity and not quality. Even the real ones from the link by skafia are kind of blotchy & unremarkable looking.

Anyone know whether Shawn is a member here and if he plans to publish the next eight items? Is a fun idea of his and hope he does the rest.

Yeah it is a bummer, Yinzer, that the quality of it isn't as high as other examples, but it is what it is. Also wondering why it didn't have "Acura" badging on the box.

Have you seen this 1:24 Zanardi build (http://italianhorses.net/Gallery/Tamiya/TamNSX/zanardinsx.htm)

I believe the original owner of #7 commissioned it to get built, and it is 1 of 1 :)

Yeah, he's on Prime somewhere. Sounds like a smart guy with some experience. I'm sure he's finishing one of those articles up and will publish soon. Probably about "The NSX Story" book. ;)
