The cost to rebuild a NSX

I thought this would be a good link for anyone asking "why can't I buy a salvaged NSX and rebuild it for cheaper"

Remember this is only the parts for the front no installation and no paint work.

Most wrecks I have seen are in the 15-20 k range add paint and labor and the cost is just about what a non salvaged car would sell for.

I just sold everything but my fenders, inner structure, and cooling equip on my car for $3500.00 to someone who bought that wrecked red NSX that was on ebay a few weeks back. That is a local car for me. I had my local acura dealer fax me over a pricelist for every single front end part on a 95 NSX. The bill came to $19,600.00. That being said, $7500 is not a bad price at all, but as previous mentioned, finding someone to put an aluminum car back together, including framework, is going to be very expensive. It doesnt seem worth it at ALL when early 90's NSXs are going for the mid 20's.

Although I agree with the premise of the original post, the buy it now price of $7500 is totally ridiculous. I’d even be surprised if the current high bid is legitimate.

Edit: Ooops, just noticed it doesn't even have a bid, that's his opening bid price. I'll be surprised if he gets a real bid.

Duel scoop hood (carbon fiber)1500.00 approx
Fenders (carbon or widebody 1500.00 approx
New nose pick almost any one 1200.00 approx
even w/ international and local shipping and tax you'd be much better off IMO WWW.MYNSX.COM
