Thought you cone dodgers would like to see it. One of the few cars (Kimini is another and an mid-engined DC2 Integra) that I was literally in awe of. Nucking Futs, man.

It's all CF!!! No way would someone hill climb that. It'd tear up that pretty body work. As the OP said, it's an auto-cross monster.

Do those huge spoilers do anything at AutoX speeds though?

Hey, half the fun of hill climb IS tearing up the car ;)

I was there for that show...its a pretty neat car amongst others.

I've never driven an AX car with those kind of "appendages" but I'm sure they do help. Nationals were just a few weeks ago and I've seen plenty of pics of dedicated AX cars that had them installed.

But I would love to see this car run a hill climb somewhere...

were doing R&D on wings for our formula SAE car. there are teams gettin over 400Lbs of down-force at 40-60mph

Awesome

Anything technical on the car? How did they set up the drivetrain? I imagine it is mid/rear as opposed to FWD, but how are they transmitting the power? I read somewhere that it is difficult to implement a motorcycle engine in a car due to the gear box being part of the engine casting, is that why the engine is riding shotgun?

Inquiring minds...
