The ARTA Super GT NSX piloted by Daisuke Ito broke the course record at Suzuka in the summer of 2007 with a time of 1:49.842 seconds!
A Porsche Carrera GT (a fast street car for reference with a 7:31 second lap at the Nurburgring) lapped Suzuka in 2:32 seconds, or almost 43 seconds behind the Super GT NSX!
This latest NSX also absolutely trumps the 2002 JGTC NSX that broke the course record at Tsukuba as seen on BM. In fact corner to corner it's the fastest GT car I've ever seen. There is more of this Hot Lap on Hot Version 80something, definitely worth watching.
Of course, this longitudinal 3.5l Carbon NSX has few similarities with ours unfortunately, but will make you proud anyway::biggrin:
