Thanks SOS & Help on NSX-R Door Badge

Thanks to Chris @ SOS, some goodies arrived, type-r intake manifold cover, Smart antenna, and NSX-R door badge.

Now I’m getting ready to install my NSX-R Door badge and looks like I need some help or advise

I would like to remove the original NSX emblem without damaging it and also not scratching the door handle.
What would be the best way to do this??? any tips??? :smile:

I used a small flathead screw driver and I wraped the tip around a thin piece of cloth so I didnt damage the paint. Then use alittle all pupose solvent remover to remove the residue.

Put the screwdriver down! :biggrin:
Get some heavy dental floss and get it behind the emblem and saw it off with a back and forth motion. Or you can try some dental tools (preferrably the hooked version)

10lb fishing line works well too

Forget the screwdriver idea for sure

if it doesn’t do the trick will bust out my BELT SANDER or better yet my Air Chisel :biggrin: LOL
